June Misc

All my boys love playing in the sand. This is at East Boulder Rec Center

One day this hair might curl...

Weston wanted to cuddle Mason

He just kept cuddling! It was so cute!

Our meager but exciting strawberry harvest. The spring snows did not favor my garden.

Finding any excuse to be outside. Our driveway is a great racetrack.

I can eat a whole dinner while he plays with these letters.

This is how Donovan took swim lessons this year. He pouted, walked away from the teacher, watched from the side, then showed me everything his class did afterwards.

We were supposed to be having a music class, but only these three boys were in attendance, so we let them bounce to the music.

Love seeing these boys play together. Mason does great with Donovan.

He wore these for a long time, it was fun.

Repairing Daddy.

Daddy was supposed to go to a work event, but he decided to stay. D would not let go. Very effective.

Seriously.

I have real boys. I'm sure they ate these afterwards.

This is like a real-life Norman Rockwell painting of American life.

Mason's friend mailed him a note that says "I love you." So fun.

Kohler Mesa Hike

One of our hikes. It was about five miles round trip, with a nice view of the valley where we live. The boys did great. We live in a beautiful place.

That's CU in the background.

We live here.

D wanted to be carried for a while.

Weston held his legs for this pose for quite a while.

Snacks at the top.

He passed out for a while.

Little Fishies

Update on my little swimmers:
Mason is swimming in the deep end, flipping, flopping, and loving this summer at the pool.
Donovan can now go down the slide by himself. Justin is teaching him all the things he almost learned in swim lessons if he ever went to them. He loves the water, he doesn't mind going under, and he can almost doggie paddle.
Here are some funny photos of the slide:

So Happy!

Mostly Happy!

Umm... maybe this was a mistake.
 Every time.

WOW Childrens Museum

There is a cool museum a few miles away we visit on occasion, the boys love it.

PVC Pipe construction

Gravity games

Crazy to think this could really happen a decade, plus one year.

D loved the bubble maker.

Primary Temple Trip 2014

Our Primary organized another trip down to see the temple, and it was as beautiful as ever. We had a picnic afterwards as well. This year I am in the Primary Presidency, so I helped plan it, but it was pretty simple. Here are some photos:

Touch a Truck 2014

My favorite event of the year. The city fills the rec center parking lot with REAL trucks, machines, and balloons. Little Boy Heaven. Except missed Daddy today, for sure.

Panera gives out free bagels. It makes the wait in line more manageable.

They are both smiling.

Semi Truck

This was a favorite.

Someone honked the horn while Mason was in there. He may have ringing in his ears for a while...

Weston could only handle so much of the noise and excitement. I've been carrying him a lot this weekend, and my shoulders are feeling it! My babies don't stay small for long, do they?

Fire Truck

So cool that they let them do this.
Here is a video of the fire hose:
