Celebrating Donovan at Chuck E Cheese

I know some of yall are so sad that you didn't get to go to Donovan's Chuck E Cheese birthday party, so I took a million pictures and enough video for you to feel like you are there.

We let D open a present before the party to avoid a temper tantrum after he innocently snooped through his presents on our way out the door to the party. We didn't want to start the inevitably chaotic and over-stimulating Chuck E Cheese experience with an upset birthday boy.
And here is the video of him opening it:

And here's Chuck E Cheese! He wanted to invite three friends, and luckily those three friends happen to be the sons of three good friends of mine, so it was a win-win for everyone.

I love Donovan's face in this picture!

This is Colton and his mom and brother. We will be doing preschool with them this fall. Colton got the biggest kick out of feeding the ticket counter.

This was the best we could get of all the boys together. D has some adorable little friends.

My friends: Sarah, Charlee, and Deborah

Who buys cool toys and then gives them to someone else? Seriously?! Lol, he is so cute.

Cleaning the cake toppers

Iron Man apparently helped with the frosting.

I love this boy. And he loves frosting.

It was nice to have everyone smiling at the end.

And here is the video:

  1. I remember how much you loved Chuck E Cheese when you were young. Has that changed?

  2. I love it because my kids love it. We are also lucky to have a nice, clean Chuck E Cheese nearby in a very safe area, which makes it more enjoyable, of course.
